Our 1st Anniversary – A year in review (2019)

I can’t believe it’s already been a whole year! So many ups and downs, left hand turns and lessons learned but I think I speak for the group when I say that we wouldn’t change a thing. We’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work with some amazing people both with their businesses and also organizations. We’ve been involved with the ASCCA PR Committee serving as consultants for their marketing channels and also I’ve had the pleasure of sitting on the Board of Trustees for the ASCEF helping give out scholarships to young people interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry. It’s been amazing and we’re looking forward to being involved with other groups as we grow into year 2!

Another highlight this year was being brought in to help launch the Dudley Market in Venice, CA. This restaurant (located practically on the beach) catches its own seafood every morning and changes their menu daily-so we’ve had a blast being able to update those changes as quickly as they come in. They also boast one of the best wine lists around so it’s no surprise that they’ve already been written up in Los Angeles Magazine and voted Eater LA’s top new restaurants to try for 3 months in row-so cool!

I’d say above all, the greatest thing to come out of this year is a book that we started to read as a group called “The Success Principles” by Jack Canfield. Running a business can be tough, especially when having to navigate the dynamics of a partnership and this book has been a godsend. Every week, we read a chapter and then do the coinciding exercise first thing on Monday morning and it is an excellent way to start the week. Together we set goals as a company while also being able to have a safe space for holding each other and ourselves accountable. I could go on and on but I’ll just say, if Chapter 1 doesn’t change your life; I don’t know what will.

Anyhow, it’d take me almost a year to explain all that’s happened over the course of the last 12 months so I’d just like to say thank you to all our loyal customers, family and friends for the support this year. We can’t wait to continue to grow with you in year two and beyond.
